Ryan works on the State Systems and Evaluation Team and on state data collection projects where he supports the implementation of qualitative and quantitative research to improve employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities. Before coming to the ICI, as a cognitive psychology researcher, Ryan explored why people share autobiographical memories online. He also has previous experience researching inclusive STEM education with the goal of promoting the inclusion of people with historically minoritized identities in STEM fields. Ryan's research and psychology major capstone in disability studies sparked his interest in doing research that promotes advocacy and inclusion.
